Ted Dumbauld

Ted has more than twenty years of business leadership and investment experience in a diverse set of industries, including nuclear power, asset management, technology, and medical cannabis.

Most recently, he invested in and was the CEO of one of the four licensed growers/processors of medical marijuana in the state of Connecticut. He joined the under-performing and money-losing operation and quickly led the firm in becoming a profitable and industry standard bearer with sustained revenue growth exceeding 10 percent per month.

Ted is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, where he received a B.S. in Systems Engineering and received his MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management. Upon graduation, he served for five years on a U.S. Navy nuclear submarine. He later worked on Wall Street as a fixed income derivative trader and started and managed a series of hedge funds.
